I am currently using Veeam with VMware in my production environment, and am considering moving to ProxMox.
I setup a 2-node ProxMox cluster with hosts named pm1 and pm2, and also setup a qDevice for quorum. I setup a Windows 11VM, and installed the Backup and Replication CE 12.2.0.0334. I was able to add the first Proxmox host in the cluster,, a Veeam worker VM on it, and I see the vms on that node in Veeam.
However, when I go to add my second node, after going through Name, Credentials, and Snapshot Storage, when I go to Apply it states:
"Failed to register cluster. The Proxmox VE node pm2.xxxxxxxx.net has already been added to the backup infrastructure"
However, pm2 does not appear in the cluster list (just pm1), nor do any vms on pm2.
I have seen other posts with a similar issue, but didn't find any solution.
I am happy with Veeam on my VMware environment, and would like to continue using it.
Any idea why Veeam Backup and Replication insists my second Proxmox node is already registered, yet shows no information or status about it?

Re: Backup and Replication on 2-node ProxMox cluster
Anything special about those hosts? For example are those running inside a virtual machine and did you clone them?
Or do they both share the same BIOS UUID?
If not, then please open a support case and let support check your setup.
