Repository Setup Suggestions

Hi everyone. I would like to know if it makes a Performance or Space difference (or something else) when creating a backup job for a group of users mailboxes (only mail) and storing them into a single folder for the entire Org or storing them into individual user folders? Thank you, -E

Hi Eyas,

Performance-wise there is absolutely no reason to create multiple repositories for Exchange backups.
Also, if you would like to use a separate repository for each protected user, you have to create and maintain separate backup jobs for each user correspondingly. Such a configuration is not optimal and not recommended.
