Hello,
We are currently testing the Veeam backup for Microsoft 365 in an Azure VM, then our backup repository is directly on Azure blob.
As I'm configuring the access on Restore Portal, I tried using the local IPV4 address of the Azure VM as the restore portal URL with default port 4443. My problem is that I can only access the Restore portal on the browser inside the Azure VM, but when I tried accessing it outside the VM, like on my laptop browser I cannot access it. I also tried using the public IP add of the Azure VM that we are using to connect on RDP. May I know which IP should I use? Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Phia

Re: Veeam Restore Portal access
Hi Phia,
When accessing the Restore Portal from outside of Azure (over the Internet), you should use a public FQDN or a public IP address of your Azure VM. Using an FQDN is recommended.
If you prefer to use the internal IP address of your Azure VM, make sure to have an active VPN connection between your computer and your Azure server.
Best regards,
Fabian
