Limit Warning Emails

Post by B.F. »

Greetings,

We have a couple Veeam agents installed a some PC's that backup to our B&R server. One of the endpoint is a laptop. It is currently scheduled to backup once a day during the weekdays. From time to time, the laptop may not be on the network during the scheduled backup. In the process, we always get an alert e-mail letting us know this. Normally this is fine but we are aware that the laptop isn't on the network for a day or two.

Is there anyway to stop this warning e-mail? It would be preferred if it would alert us if it hasn't backed up for a week or so. I found that piece in the settings but not how to stop daily alerts.

Thanks!

Same here for Veeam Agent Jobs when the "Rescan of manually added" job does not find the Agents that are offline.
Is there any way to suppress these messages?
Thank you.

Hello,

There is no way to avoid warnings from global email notifications standpoint but you can configure granular email reporting per protection group and suppress warnings via configuration settings: Notification Settings. I've also noted an improvement request to make those notifications configurable globally. Thank you for your posts!
