Is it possible to create a Scale-Out Repository composed of two Data Domains? Additionally, can I enable Retention Lock managed by Veeam? If Retention Lock is active, can I still perform a Backup Copy, or does it need to be configured with GFS?
For context, the first backup copy is stored on a hardened repository with immutability, running on Red Hat Linux.
thank !

Re: retention lock DD
Hi Massimiliano, 'yes' to all the questions. You can have a SOBR with two DDs and have Retention Lock enabled. You can also make a backup copy out of it.

Re: retention lock DD
Does it necessarily have to be a Backup Copy with GFS since immutability is enabled ?

Re: retention lock DD
It is up to you whether to enable GFS on the backup copy. This is independent of the immutability settings. But keep in mind that GFS restore points will be immutable for the entire lifetime (if immutability is enabled on the backup copy target).
