I'm trialling using agent backup tasks instead of VM backup tasks to see if it reduced the performance hit my servers are feeling during backups. With my VM backup tasks, these automatically don't include iSCSI disks that are connected to the servers. With the agent tasks, it doesn't seem to exclude these by default.
The only option I can see to exclude specific volumes is at the backup job level (which would apply to all servers in that job) rather than at the specific server level. This is a problem because D:\ on one server might be iSCSI, while on another it's a data disk.
How can I exclude iSCSI disks without splitting it into separate backup jobs?

Re: Agent Backup Task - Exclude iSCSI Disks
Hello Josh,
Agent operates at a volume level, so unfortunately specifying the volume letter is the only option. You can select exact volumes to be excluded or exact volumes to be backed up if that helps. Thank you!The only option I can see to exclude specific volumes is at the backup job level (which would apply to all servers in that job) rather than at the specific server level. This is a problem because D:\ on one server might be iSCSI, while on another it's a data disk.
