Inputting Veeam logs to AIOPS model

Post by Suryanarayanan »

Hi Team,

We have a plan to give our Veeam logs to AIOPS model and achieve below. Please provide your input

1.Report bulk backup failures (Ex: more than 50% VMs).
2. Report if none of the schedule is started
3. Check and identify the cause of the above two scenarios. Ex: If issue is with proxy/Repo/VBR service or server
4. Analyze the backup logs and suggest i) to spread the schedule if required, ii) To uplift the resources in VBR/Repo/Proxy

We are in identifying the respected log files and exact string pattern. It would you be good if you add your insight on it.

Regards,
Surya

Hello Surya,

Are you sure you want to rely on debug logs instead of Windows events or Syslog? Events were designed specifically for the integrations you've mentioned - please take a look: Veeam Backup & Replication 12 - Event Reference. Thank you!
