Hi,
I am going thru some cleanup on our stored credentials in VBR and noticed a few credentials that are tied to 'objects'(specifically shared folders) in VBR. Problem is I went thru the entire console and each job and can't find a reference to this 'shared folder'.
See screenshot:

Where can I find this shared folder within Veeam? Its an old shared folder that doesn't exist anymore. I get I can probably just delete the credential but want to know where this folder is referenced within Veeam.
Thanks!

Re: Trouble locating object in VBR
Hi Mark
Shared Folders can either be registered as Backup Repositories or as source for File Backup Jobs or Tape Jobs.
If you can't find the share in the backup console, you can either try to just delete the credentials.
If deleting the credential doesn't work (because the share is still in the database), I suggest to consider to open a support case. There is an SQL query to remove orphaned shares from the configuration. But it must be discussed with support if the query still works in our most recent releases.
Disclaimer: Using SQL queries to modify the configuration database is only supported with guidance from our support team.
Best,
Fabian
