lowest restore points Backup job

Post by esaautomation »

I've Veeam Backup & Replication 12.2 Community Edition.
I've configurated 3 backup job, 2 job with 20 rp and 1 job with 5 rp, but if I try to restore from backup job I see only 3 rp for the job with 5 rp and 4 rp for the job with 20 rp.
How can I fix it?
Thank you

Hi Nicolas, welcome to the forums.

Restore points are created every time the job runs and creates a backup -- so I think practical question here is "how long has the job been running, and how frequently?"

You can right-click on a job and select "Report" to see an HTML report of the job's history if you aren't sure, but based just on the above, I would guess the job simply hasn't run enough times yet to get the desired restore points.

The backup job has been running for about 1 year and starts 1 time per day, 5 days a week, in fact there are many backup from the report.

Then it is not expected... but also definitely not a known issue that has been reported before, so it must be something specific to your environment. Thus please open a support case for further troubleshooting.

I fix it.
It was a configuration error. I thought I had set 20 restore points but I had set 20 days.
