Cannot see any Datastore Stats??

Post by pparks1 »

So, I'm trying out Veeam One Monitor Free Edition. I notice that I can see disk space free, but I get nothing for my Read/Write Latencies, nor can I see anything with respect to IOPs/s on my datastores.

I'm running my testbox on Server 2008 R2, and my ESX environment is currently 4.0. I'm runing Monitor One 6.0 Build version: 6.0.0.520

Hi Patrick,

Do you have a vCenter Server deployed or these are standalone hosts?

Thanks!

vCenter server is deployed. I configured Monitor to use the IP address of my vCenter instance.

Ok, thanks for the info, looks like you've faced the behavior mentioned in this thread, so in order to retrieve datastore metrics your hosts should be upgraded at least to 4.1 version.

Alright, was hoping to not have to do the upgrade quite yet, but it's straightforward...it just means a few more days of work before I can get some of the metrics out of our environment.

Thanks for the followup.
