Is there an official fix for this issue? I've recently upgraded to version 8 and have been having various issues with my backups since the upgrade. I'm receiving this specific error in this thread on one particular online archive (happens to be the largest shared mailbox in our org):

I need this hotfix and I've opened a support case. I have a client that hasn't had a clean backup in months due to this bug.

Support engineers are doing their job - they need to confirm the problem and ensure you're running the version applicable for the existing hot fix.

Have also been having this issue on and off randomly throughout different jobs, just logged a case for it as found another one that's been doing it randomly for just the last 2 weeks (no changes)

Try installing the latest patch 8.1.1.159, which includes this fix.

I will give it a try. Ran update check and it didn't come up. Been to busy to dig further.

The update check has not been enabled yet. Typically, it notifies you a week or two after a version has been released.
