Hi,
We have 5 Linux zfs storage repo's for our cloudconnect (12 disks, 2 Z2 vdevs).
We also have a tape job so that every week we have a copy to tape (3 LTO 8 drives).
The tapes are going great until 5-6 tenants are writing to 1 repo.
After that the read speeds are going under the minimum write speeds of the tapes.
We want to cache some of the data on the tape server so it does not matter if there is an moment of slow reads

Re: tape cache
Hello,
the disk system must deliver enough speed as there is no option to cache on "other disks". The only way I see is to ensure the repository gets faster disks.
Best regards
Hannes
