Hello, how can I restore dynamic disks using liveCD?
I get information in the wizard that:
"Restoring dynamic disks can only be done from the main user interface, once you boot into the operating system. Do you want to restore them as basic through manual allocation ?"

Hi Kikanq,
The notification informs you that restoring a volume as a dynamic volume is
not possible from our recovery media.
If you want to restore as a dynamic disk, please boot into the operating system, log in with your account, and initiate a volume restore from
there .
Best,
Fabian

@Mildur
It is not clear to me, so please answer the following question:
1. I am restoring dynamic disks directly from VBR?

Hi Kikanq
How was the machine protected? Managed by Agent or Managed by Server?
What worked for me with "Managed by Server":
1.) Use disk manager on my recovery machine and convert the target disk to dynamic
2.) Start a volume restore through the backup console on my backup server and point it to the empty dynamic disk:
2.) Disk is restored as dynamic:
