Restore Disk To Azure VM
Is it possible to just restore a disk to an Azure VM rather than restoring the full virtual machine with VBR? We are migrating some VMs to Azure and want to restore them in advance and then only restore the disks that have changed data on them during the migration. I can see that i can choose specific disks to restore in the wizard but im not sure if that will allow to restore to an existing VM?

Re: Restore Disk To Azure VM
You cannot directly restore a specific disk to an existing Azure VM. However, you can select which specific disks you want to restore by using the Disks button on the VM size page of the restore wizard. After that, you will need to first detach the disk from the restored machine and then attach it to the machine you want. Thanks!
