Hi everyone,
In the Files tab of the Veeam Backup & Replication console, users with Administrator privileges can access the entire Hardened Repository file system.
This includes the ability to view and download scripts, configuration files, backups, etc.
However, this level of access could pose a security risk, especially in environments where the Hardened Repository is managed by a separate team (e.g., a Security or Infrastructure team) and should have restricted access to sensitive files.
Could you please advise if there is a way to disable file browsing for the Hardened Repository, or at least restrict browsing to the backup repository path only?
This would help ensure that Administrators can only access the necessary backup data while respecting file system permissions and maintaining proper security boundaries.
