What are the minimum licenses I must assign or the PowerShell to configure so I can set a specific service account to send email for VBO for M365 purpose ?
Because using my existing user account, the email is sent out as my own user account which I do not want to re authenticate every week.

Re: Procedure to configure service account for sending out email in VBO for M365
Hi Backup Administrator,
From my short test in the lab, the account used for authentication must have a mailbox (Exchange Online license); otherwise, sending mails will fail.

Best,
Fabian

That should not happen. With <Microsoft 365 (modern authentication)>, authorization/authentication is only required once for notifications. I have never had to re-authorize my configuration. Do you see something different in your environment?Because using my existing user account, the email is sent out as my own user account which I do not want to re authenticate every week.
