Hi,
Please could someone advise if it is possible to do either of the following, for a backup file which has a GFS period set on it;
-Reduce the period of retention for a file that was written to an immutable storage repo (repo immutability period = 30 days / GFS period 5 years)
-Extend the period of retention for a file that was written to an immutable storage repo (repo immutability period = 30 days / GFS period 1 year)
(Note: the files are offloaded copies in an Object Storage capacity tier, that were originally written to a performance tier in a SOBR)
I'm guessing that neither of these are possible, but just wanted to check...
Many thanks!

Re: Reduce / Extend GFS period
You should change the retention policy on the job and when the job executes, it will alter GFS flags on the backup files.
