Linux Agent AMD vs i386

Post by ratkinsonuk »

I'm just working my way through updating the Linux backup agent on one of my servers, but I noticed the filename is 'veeam-release-deb_1.0.9_amd64.deb' which says AMD architecture to me. Is this package cross platform and covers i386 as well?

In the past, I've downloaded 'veeam_6.2.0.101_i386.deb' so that's what I've been expecting for the latest version.

Cheers, Rob.

In fact, I've just realised this is just the package manager settings to download the package from the web. Please can you point me to the full package file, as my Veeam servers aren't connected to the Internet so I need to do a manual copy and update.

Thanks.

Hello Robert,

You can download veeam-release-deb_1.0.9_i386.deb and other packages from public repository: https://repository.veeam.com/backup/lin ... lease-deb/

Thanks for that Rovshan, but as far as I can tell, they're still just the apt install pointers back to the Veeam repository server. I need the raw package file please. I'm guessing it would be equivalent to veeam-libs_6.2.0.101_i386.deb.

Ah, sorry. I was looking through the folders above those but didn't spot the right one. Many thanks again.
