NATS TLS

Post by karsten123 » 1 person likes this post

Hi,
is there any step by step guide for enabling tls with NATS.
I dont think I am going to figure it out with the provided documentation tbh.
And why is it not enabled by default?
Thanks
Karsten

Hi Karsten,

Have you had a chance to check NATS documentation on enabling TLS?

Just one note: If you want to use a self-signed certificate for NATS, add it to Trusted on VB365 controller and proxies, otherwise VB365 may reject such a connection.

Hi Polina,
of course I checked this link. It is in the Veeam documentation. To be honest, that is too much bla bla. Why not list the Veeam relevant parts in the Veeam documentation? Or enable it per defauft by the VB365 setup?
Cheers

Veeam is not responsible for configuring any 3rd party apps even if those are required for our app to work. Those components can also be shared with other workloads, be preinstalled or used before or separate from VB365 - we cannot and should not change their configuration.
