I would like to ask for some clarification on whether this is achievable.
I plan to migrate the existing VBM365 v8.1 from the on-premise server room to the remote data centre.
The existing on-premise backup repository is attached as VMware VMDK.
Can I manually migrate all of the backup repository content to the Cloud Object Storage like Wasabi and then deploy the new VBM365 v8.1 to continue the incremental backup?
The goal here is to avoid long full backups which take a very long time.
Thank you in advance.

Re: VBO Backup Portability
Hi Albert,
Yes, you can migrate from a Jet database to object storage. We have a PowerShell command for that scenario, which is descripted here: https://www.veeam.com/kb3067 (Method 1)
Please note that this migration may take a considerable amount of time for larger repositories, during which no backup jobs can run.
We are currently working on a migration option that will allow backup jobs to continue running during the migration, but we are not ready to release it yet.
Best,
Fabian
