Got struck in polling scale out repository

We have couple similar issues for the different VBR server last week . We have rebuilt the server in new VM. Case- # 07655835

Comment from # 07655835
As far as RCA, the evidence suggests that this was caused after some event which happened during the day on 3/31 resulted in some form of corruption of the OS of that server which then caused certificate validation requests to hang.

The level of digging into specific problems with the operating system that would be required to find out what went wrong with that server may require involving Microsoft

Hi Suryanarayanan,

Thank you for sharing the case number and the details, and sorry to hear about the challenges.

I can see the case is already with Advanced Technical Support and they're working to resolve the issue. Based on the last comment from Advanced Support, it looks like an issue was identified with the OS for the VBR server, and a fresh server with VBR re-installed did not show the same behavior, and currently Support is working with you and your team on investigating the behavior on another VBR server showing similar symptoms.

The behavior itself is unexpected and I'm not aware of any known issue at the moment that matches this description, so let's see what Support finds in the logs you and your colleagues recently provided.
