Folks,
It is possible to run a health check manually when it comes to NAS/File share backups and backup copies, by right clicking and choosing "Run health check".
Why is that not possible with ordinary backup and backup copy jobs? Are there some technical difficulties in achieving this, or has this feature not been requested by the users?
Kind regards,
PJ

Re: Manual health check
Hi PJ,
We have users who requested a "manual health check in UI/PowerShell," but there is no ETA for when it will be added to the product. I will note your request as a +1 in our internal tracking system.
Every request has to be prioritized, and some requests may take longer to progress in our queue of requested features. In the meantime, check out this workaround from one of our forum members.
Best,
Fabian

[MERGED] Feature Request: On Demand / shedule Health check for VM Backups
Would it be possible to add in health check option for VM backups.
I would like the option to either run a healthcheck on demand, and /or the option to run it as a job on its own not linked to a backup job.

Re: Manual health check
Hello TDMPro2K,
Welcome to the forum.
We’re aware of this request, but currently there’s no ETA for when such a button might be added.
Please see my previous answer, where I’ve included a link to a possible workaround (for backups attached to a Jobs).
Best,
Fabian
