Backup MySQL and PostgreSQL via VBR

How can i backup databases via VBR? MySQL and PostgreSQL databases?
VBR can connect directly to the database or do i need to connect to the server where MySQL and PostgreSQL are installed?

P.S. Linux machines without a graphical shell. I saw information that VM Agent can perform backup, but how to manage it from the console?

Please note, application aware processing for MySQL and PostgreSQL databases with Veeam Agent is only available for Linux based machines. PostgreSQL databases on Linux based virtual machines can also be protected application aware by a Vm backup job.

1.) Create a protection group to deploy the Veeam Agent for Linux to the Linux machines
2.) Create a Linux Agent backup job for these machines and enable application aware processing. You will also have to configure the MySQL and PostgreSQL processing settings.

I get errors when running the job:

Failed to open MySQL client library.
Failed to perform managed backup
Cannot connect to MySQL server.
Processing finished with errors at 04/30/2025 13:21:13

Login and password for the MySQL database are correct
maybe I'm doing something wrong
