Hello,
I would like to submit a feature request for the Entra ID Backup solution.
I have 2 tenants in Entra, Tenant A: 190 users and Tenant B: 250 users
We have cross-tenant sync between the tenants.
I have configured this backup for Tenant A.
But because of an cross-tenant sync, Veeam detects more then 400 users as Members.
I already submitted a support ticket for this, explaining that only the Members for Tenant A should be counted for licensing.
Because the members from the cross-tenant sync don't belong to this customer.
And when I create another Entra ID backup for Tenant B, then it will see the 190 users of Tenant A as members as well.
So Tenant B will be paying for this.
Could you please add something to this that only Members from the Tenant are counted.
Thank you.

Re: Feature request: Entra ID Backup
Hi Berend,
Thank you for your request, but licensing decisions aren’t made by product management. I recommend raising this request with your Veeam sales representative as well to raise awareness.
Just to clarify, a replicated account in a different tenant is treated as a new member object with its own properties and relationships in the second tenant. I assume you want to protect that object and its relationships in the second tenant too, correct?
Best,
Fabian
