VB for M365 on Windows server 2025

Hi,
We are planning a clean installation of Veeam backup for Microsoft 365 v8. If possible we would like to install on Windows server 2025, but it is not listed in the latest system requirements. Is this already supported or is this somewhere on the roadmap and when may we expect this?

Mainstream support for Windows Server 2022 ends in October 2026.

At present, migrating a VB365 v8.x installation is not possible. The software has no configuration‑backup feature, and my testing shows you cannot rebuild it on a new operating system and point it to the existing database. Unless a configuration‑backup tool appears before October 2026, migrations will remain blocked.

This gap in support could leave many users with no viable options.

I suppose you could always try the in-place upgrade later....
