Where can I look for mor information? Which logs may be showing more insight into this problem?
In my company I have a crucial physical machine which runs Fedora Server 40.
As of this moment, Veeam B&R doesn't support it and support Fedora releases up to 39. Which means I cannot backup said machine.
Fedora 40 is over 1 year old and 4 days ago was announced as EOL.
I forwarded my case to the support which recommended to me:
1. Open a feature request through the support - I did 2 months ago but no update on the matter were given and furthermore, NO ESTIMATION FOR COMPLETION
2. Submit a feature request here (another feature request? make me question the relevance of the feature request I've submitted 2 month ago)
Appreciate to know when this issue will be resolved.
The latest version of Veeam Agent for Linux supports Fedora 36, 37, 38, and 39 only.
There are no plans to expand support to the following Fedora versions.
Also, in the next major release, Fedora will no longer be supported at all (including versions prior to 40).
