Veeam B&R read only role

Hi,

I wonder, does the Veeam have some built in role or is it possible to create some custom role with read only access to whole Veeam B&R infrastructure components?

Available roles are documented in our helpcenter. Try the "Veeam Backup Viewer" role for your requirement. It may provide what you are looking for.

I saw the docs. But its still unclear, can "Veeam Backup Viewer" role view EVERY Veeam B&R configuration made everywhere in read only mode (like Veeam Backup Administrator role) or can it view only jobs and jobs session details?

May I ask the use case for such a role? Security Team or Auditor who wants to review the entire configuration?

Similar to that:) I want to do regular audits what is configured in Veeam, but as I'm not veeam infra administrator, noone wants to give me admin rights so easily:) So do I understand this right that as for now such great and powerfull software does not have such usefull feature? And no workaround to achieve that? So if everything so sad, maybe could you pass some feature request?

For regular reporting of your backup environment and its configuration, we have Veeam ONE.
Veeam ONE allows you to create different reports you can use to audit and review changes on your backup server. There are also Restore Audit Reports where you can review which backup admin has restored what data and where.

Additionally, some of our community members use AsBuiltReport to create regular reports of the backup server. If you don't have Veeam ONE, it may be worth checking out: https://github.com/AsBuiltReport/AsBuil ... .Veeam.VBR

Such role in the future would be the very nice thing, because I do not need reports. I want to be able to login by myself and check the places I need with my eyes. Hope that you'll be able to implement such role soon.
