[SOLARIS] How to find list of "skipped files" during backup job?

Post by VAB »

Hello!

On some of our Solaris 11.4 (SPARC) kernel zones, we see the following warning in Job.log:

Code: Select all

[20.05.2025 02:33:19.056] < 20> vmb | [SessionLog][warn] Some files were skipped - see Agent.Source.log for details.
This seems to mark the affected job as "warning" in the VBR server, even though the final result is

Code: Select all

[20.05.2025 02:34:58.152] < 2> lpbcore| JOB STATUS: SUCCESS.
The 'warning' state in turn triggers messages to Operations, which I am trying to avoid by adding any problematic files to the exclude list. However, searching for "warn" or "skipped" in Agent.Source.log does not yield any results. How can I find the list of skipped files?

The only warnings I see in Agent.Source.log are:

Code: Select all

[20.05.2025 02:31:02.857] < 32> alg | WARN|Traffic history size is dangerously high.
[20.05.2025 02:31:08.570] < 36> alg | WARN|Traffic history overflow : number of blocks in history '150', limit '150'.
Could these warnings be the reason no skipped files are shown?

Thanks,
VAB

Hello Volker,

You'll need to open a support case so that the team can thoroughly review the logs.
Could you please share the case number here for reference?

Thanks so much!
