SQL Plug-in to VCC

Hello,

Our DBA is currently utilizing jobs within SQL to backup our main databases on a weekly (full), daily (incremental), and hourly (logs) basis. I am looking to utilize the SQL Plug-in for this. I have managed to do a couple test backup jobs successfully to our offsite repository. However, I cannot seem to figure out how to get these Application backup jobs to be used in a backup copy job to our VCC. I am assuming this is a possibility, but I am just not able to find it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the reference. Is there any way to get SQL backups to a VCC repository without backing up the entire VM? Otherwise, would we be able to backup-copy SQL backups to an AWS/Azure object storage?

Hello,

Indeed, you cannot store SQL plug-in backups in VCC repositories, but primary backups and backup copies to object storage will be possible in v13.

So, v13 will support SQL plug-in backups to object storage destinations (either directly and/or via backup-copy)? When is the ETA for v13 so I can propose this to management?
