VM server to Proxmox
The question is the following: when migrating a VM server to Proxmox that is being backed up in the Veeam infrastructure, will anything need to be changed or will it recognize it automatically, or will configuration adjustments be necessary?

Re: VM server to Proxmox
Hi Vitor,
The answer may vary depending on your specific host and configuration.
In general, no manual changes are required after migrating a VM to Proxmox.
However, in certain cases—such as when using vTPM, EFI, or specific operating systems—some configuration adjustments may be necessary.

Re: VM server to Proxmox
Hi,
there are some steps to be taken when migrating Windows VM's. I did a migration recently and I had to change the storage controllers or else the Windows VM's won't boot.
