How to upgrade IO filter in VBR 12.3

Post by zadrian »

I have upgraded from VBR 12.2 to 12.3 and the last step is to upgrade the IO Filter.

However the upgrade wizard only allow the upgrade of ALL the servers in the cluster (I have 4 clusters of 2 ESXi each).
I can move the VMs within the 2 ESXi per cluster as to upgrade 1 ESXi at a time but Veeam Upgrade Wizard does not give the option to choose which host to update ?

How can I proceed ?

The procedure for updating filters differs slightly depending on whether vSphere Distributed Resource Schedule (DRS) is enabled or disabled. Could you please let me know the status in your environment? Is DRS enabled or disabled?

We do not have DRS but I have at least 2 ESXi host per cluster as 1 ESXi host is a standby (literally empty)
