PVE Proxmox backup and repo

Is it intended that you create a folder in the Backuprepository for every machine?
Normally its Repopath\Jobpath\backupfiles.. but in pve its Repopath\"vmname Backup". If so it would create a folder vor every?! vm...

Hi Chsuscale,

Let me ask the question the other way around; Do you see an issue with how we store backups in this product?

Other products from us, such as Veeam Agent also create a dedicated folder for each protected machine within a single job.
