How about a Veeam brand KVM hypervisor?
Development could be concentrated on feature development like replication, SureBackup, Instant Recovery and so on.
User could trust the level of support that they are used to from Veeam and you wouldn't feel like you were giving up Veeam features just because you changed hypervisor.
I would certainly miss SureBackup if I moved to one of the newly supported hypervisors.
It could also help Veeam by concentrating on building market share for their own brand and not spreading resources over too many hypervisors.
Just an idea - I didn't say it was a good one...

Re: R&D question
Hi,
Well, once there is a demand for that thing, we will respond accrodingly.
Right now it doesn't seem like we really need to do that : )
Thanks!
