Dear Veeam Product Team,

We would like to request an enhancement in VeeamOne’s user access controls.

Currently, multiple backup servers belonging to different users are configured within a single VeeamOne instance. However, all users can access reports for all backup servers via the web console, leading to unintended visibility beyond their dedicated environment.

We require a functionality that allows administrators to restrict specific users from accessing the Backup and Replication view, ensuring that users can only see reports related to their designated backup servers.

As confirmed by your engineer in Case #07715628 (VeeamOne user segregation for servers), this feature is not available in the current version. We strongly believe that introducing this capability will enhance security, compliance, and user experience.

We kindly request you to consider developing and integrating this feature in an upcoming update. Please let us know if further details or use cases would be helpful in evaluating this request.

Hello DRL,
We are surely exploring more in depth, granular Access Management, including IDP and RBAC but that is not included on upcoming release.

In v13 we are bringing truly granular filtering for every report, so you can customize all the necessary reports per backup server, or really by anything that it can be filtered, and give access to every different admin with the option from Saved Reports - Share.

That is available today as well, but a bit less flexible, give it a try.
