Failed to apply Update "VmaCryptSQLPass"

Hi,

When trying to apply the latest update https://www.veeam.com/kb4696, I get the following error:

VmaCryptSQLPass: One or more arguments are not correct.

After this error another one occurs:

Connection to SQL Server cannot be verified.

Which log could I analyze to try to understand this failure?

Hi Amauri,

The most efficient course of action would be to wait for our support engineers to complete their troubleshooting. The error does not appear to be a known issue, which is why I’d prefer to receive a technical summary from support first.

Thanks for the reply.

The problem has been solved.

I tried several steps and none of them worked.

Finally, I stopped all Veeam services and after stopping, the setup was completed without generating the error.
