Four-Eyes Authorization with Enterprise Manager

Post by EricinIT »

Hi,

We've enabled Four-Eyes Authorization in VBR. We use the Cloud Director plugin which uses Enterprise Manager on the back end. Now, when Cloud Director tenants try to delete backups, they are unable to and gives them a message Four-Eyes Authorization is enabled. I see at https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... imitations that it doesn't allow deletion requests in Enterprise Manager in the "Requirements and Limitations" section. Can we get Enterprise Manager to support Four-Eyes Authorization so Cloud Director Tenants can use this functionality?

Hi Eric,

Thank you for your request.
At this time, I cannot promise whether we will add Four-Eyes Authorization to Enterprise Manager. As you may know, we are introducing a brand new Web UI in v13. It’s not yet feature complete, but our goal is to move all functionality over the next versions to the new Web UI. Some Service Provider related features from Enterprise Manager may even be moved to other portals such as VSPC.

Four-Eyes Authorization is important, and it will likely be added to the new "portal," whichever portal that will be for our vCloud integration.

Nonetheless, your request is noted.

Best regards,
