We upgraded from Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 version 8.1.1.2200 to 8.1.2 and are experiencing a recurring issue where the services appear to hang silently.
After running for some time, the environment stops processing jobs. If you manually start a job, it enters a queued state and never progresses. Scheduled jobs also stop triggering. They do not even appear in a queued state unless manually launched, and once launched, they remain stuck.
The services do not crash or stop, but job activity is completely stalled. The only workaround we have found is to delete the NATS streaming directory and restart the services. This temporarily resolves the issue, but the problem eventually returns.
This behavior is causing serious reliability concerns and requires ongoing manual intervention to maintain job execution.
Support Case: #07762356
We are posting here to raise visibility and to see if others are experiencing this or if the R&D team is actively investigating a resolution.
