Hi, we have periodic log backups enabled for some large DB servers, we log ship hourly and keep them for 2 days (set in the job options). I've notices this job using a lot more storage on its Immutable Object Store repo than expected, as I'm guessing it has to keep the .vlb files for as long as the immutability period, not the set 2 days? Would it be possible to store them on a different repository/bucket to the main .vib/.vbk backups?
I'm not sure if I'm missing something, this should be a feature request or it's not technically possible.
Thanks. Stu.

Re: Option to store SQL log shipping files in another location
Hi Stuart,
No, there is no option to store transaction log backups on a different repository from where image-level backups are located. However, the feature request is noted.
Thanks!
