Hi,
We have been waiting for a while now for a Linux based management system since we are a Linux only shop. For internal servers we plan on using local IP's and for remote systems we would like to use TailScale. This would allow our remote systems to connect over TailScale and at the same time leave the Veeam host closed off to the internet. Is there access to the underlying OS for Veeam on Linux to install something like TailScale? Also any idea on a public release of 13 beta?
TIA.

Re: TailScale support in Veeam13
The idea of the linux based appliance is that it is really secure by design and has the least amount of attack points as possible. So by default there is no way to add additional software.
Maybe your firewall can be the endpoint for the other VPN clients on the remote server?
As well Veeam has a system called "Veeam Cloud Connect Enterprise" that might be interesting for you as it can integrate many remote VBR endpoints without VPN. Maybe reach out to our pre-sales team to get access.

This is the Veeam component normally available for Veeam Cloud Service Providers only, but Veeam, if the use case requires, lets using it by regular users too.
