Veeam Backup for Azure Trusted Launch

Hi everyone

Does VBA in version 5a support Azure VMs with Trusted Launch?
In the documentation of v5 (https://helpcenter.veeam.com/archive/vb ... tions.html) there's an explicit passage which mentions:
Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure supports backup of Azure VMs with trusted launch enabled. However, you will only be able to perform disk restore and file-level restore for this type of VMs. For more information on trusted launch, see Microsoft Docs.
This passage isn't present anymore in the V5a documentation (https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbazu ... tml?ver=5a), nor any other mentioning of trusted launch VMs.
Does this mean this limitation has been eliminated? I can't find anything to this topic in the release notes of v5a or in the forum. We'd like to deploy our Azure VMs with Trusted Launch, however only if our backup solutions supports it.

Hi Philipp,
Veeam Backup for Azure now fully supports backup and restore of Azure VMs with trusted launch enabled. In the previous version (v5), there were certain limitations for restore operations. However, these limitations have been addressed and eliminated in the v5a release.

Can you tell me where these changes have been mentioned because I couln't find anything about it in the Release Notes.

Hi! Release Notes contain information on the requirements and current known issues, but don't include bug fixes. The limitation has been removed from the user guide. We will look into enhancements for the future to clarify these changes.

Since Veeam does offer an option to automatically configure the Azure "Trusted Launch" security profile during the process from On-prem to Azure. The VMs are restored with the "standard" security profile, and they're no built-in method to enable Trusted Launch.

Does veeam have a roadmap for this feature?
