Microsoft 365 e-mail authorization

Post by pejub »

Hi,

I'm trying to setup e-mail notifications using Microsoft 365.

When clicking Authorize now a window with the title "Sign in to your account" opens, but the window is blank. How can I resolve this?

I'm running VBR 12.1.2.172 on Windows Server 2022.

Hi Per,

Probably it's best to open a Support Case and let Support review the issue. Basically it sounds like the page is not being loaded properly in the web view there, but regrettably there can be quite a few reasons for this, so it's best to let Support review.

Please reproduce the issue, note the date/time of the reproduction, then collect logs from the Veeam server for Support to review. (Use the 3rd radio button and select the Veeam server from the host list when exporting logs)

Please share the case number once you have it.

Thanks!

Hi @pejub,

Do you know what the solution to this was? I've tried opening up cases for this but since we're using community edition, I haven't been able to get an answer and the cases end up getting automatically closed...

For Veeam team and forum rules, here is the case #07782476.

I have the exact same issue as described here using version 12.3.2.3617. We can't use email notifications at all due to this issue since MS no longer supports basic SMTP anymore (with good reason).

Hi M&Ms, welcome to the forum.

Regrettably the topic creator never shared a case number.

And we regrettably will not be able to troubleshoot over the forums; if you do have a paid or evaluation license, you can open a case with those and have Veeam Support check.

Else, off the top of my head ensure:

- All of the software listed on this section is still installed on the Veeam server itself
- Test when logged in as the local Administrator account (not a member of administrator's group, the local build-in admin)

If neither works, then likely a deeper review of the logs by Veeam Support will be required.
