I have an environment with a very old version (10.0.0.0.4461 P2) and I want to upgrade to 12.3
I know of the pre-reqs for this, but can't find the .iso file for the required Cumulative patch (https://www.veeam.com/kb4291) before I can upgrade to 11a. If I can do this I'd restore the configuration backup from the existing server to a newly installed 12.3 server.
Can somebody point me in the right direction for the .iso download, or will it be a case of recreating all required backup jobs on the new server ?
Regrettably, as per our Supported Upgrade Paths, only 10a is supported for upgrade to v12.3. Please see the End of Support Upgrade Path note.
I advise a fresh installation and recreate the jobs. Backups from your current installation can be imported into the new server, so you don't need to start the backup chains from scratch.

Ah ok thanks. I must admit I'd overlooked the fact I could import the previous backups into the new installation. By doing this would all the backup history also be imported ?
Regarding backup history, you mean the job session history?
Regrettably no, that will not be imported. If you have a need to maintain records of the session history, you can produce reports on the current VBR with Powershell; Get-VBRBackupSession and Get-VBRRestoreSession should be enough; it's been awhile since I used v10 but I don't recall any significant changes to these two cmdlets, so check on our Powershell forums and I expect any session history report should work.
Similarly, I know the MyVeeamReport script was maintained from versions 9.5u4 to current, so I suppose you could use an older version to produce a one-off report on your current installation to get the report data.
