is it possible to measure the backup size per protected object?
we also have vspc if that helps.

Re: Backup size per protected object
Hi Karsten,
We do not collect this kind of information today with Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365, and there’s currently no feature or function to run a calculation after a backup job has run.
However, we are aware of this request, and we may introduce "granular reporting" for the backup size of each protected object in a future version of Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365.
When this feature is added, we’ll make sure you can query this information in the VSPC as well.
Best,
Fabian

Re: Backup size per protected object
Hi Fabian,
want to metion, that we are also highly interested in this.
At the moment there is as far as I know no chance to find out what is consuming the backup space, which makes it hard for customers if the used space is highly increasing an we can't tell him why..
Kind regards
Chris

Re: Backup size per protected object
you can estimate the used space by using the M365 Admin Report View... there you'll can see and sum-up the per User usage of the Mailbox and Onedrive, and you get per Sharepoint/Teams usage...
assume like from 1 to 5% change rate and you can calculate the per Object Space Usage (excluding optimizations Veeam is doing in S3) .... not perfect but at least you get a assumption how its distributed!
