Transfering Veeam backup to a new SSD.
Hi so I recently got a new Samsung external SSD to replace my crucial SSD for backups, thing is that can I move or continue the same back ups on my PC? Do I copy and paste the old backups or do I just copy the VBK file only to continue the chain?

Hi Metalalchemist,
Are these standalone Veeam Agent for Windows jobs or are they managed by a Veeam Backup and Replication server (VBR)?
If they're managed from VBR, you can add the new drive as a repository and use Backup Move
If these are local agent jobs backing up to a drive connected to the machine being backed up, move the VBK + VBM file to the new drive and then map the job to the backup

Its Veeam agent, therefore a local backup job. Thank you for the info. Ill copy and paste the original VBK & VBM and follow the directions.
