We set up CDP and it won't get past the initial sync issue, we have tried many things with support over the last couple months trying to get this working again.
"8/28/2025 11:25:34 AM :: VM configuration for the initial sync completed with errors Error: Unexpected processing error: 73e99ca3-651e-4765-8230-577a55858fae. Please contact your service provider. "
And on the DR side vCenter is saying its missing an encryption key, and failing and removing the replica.
So far out of all the VMs at the client site, only 2 are able to be replicated and all settings are the same, the only difference is the 2 that replicate are server 2016 and the others are newer. They all have the same storage policy, same TPM settings.
Anyone ran into this issue or something similar?

Re: CDP Fails Initial Sync, DR side says missing encryption key
Forgot to add the case number: #07686735
Looking for some help asap here, as this has been on ongoing issue for awhile now! We have no DR solution in place currently for them and our customer is not happy about that.
