Anyone has LTO10 already?

we’re currently waiting for the first LTO-10 tape libraries, and I’m wondering: has anyone here already gotten their hands on an LTO-10 system?

Hello Markus,

From what i understood from one of hardware vendor, most of the stock has been reserved by hyperscalers for this year.
It is not yet supported by Veeam.

We have access to LTO 10 in our lab, and testing is currently underway.

So far, testing looks good, but its not finished yet.
I recommend waiting until official support is announced via updated System Requirements in our Help Center.

I apologize for the late answer.
We concluded our testing and plan to announce official support for LTO10 for v12.3.* and v13.

Waiting to upgrade our LT08.

Speeds are slightly better, but capacity will be nice, I have alot of tapes, and it's nice to not have to span so many for a single backup

It's safe to use LTO10 with 12.3 and Veeam Software Appliance v13 - we've verified that it's works without any issues. Please do not forget to share your feedback on overall LTO10 experience with Veeam Backup & Replication. Thank you!
