VSA v13 behind a proxy with https inspection

Post by dmitri-va »

Hi,

does it support importing a custom Root CA certificate to the trusted root store, so it can check/download updates from behind a proxy with https inspection?

If so, could you point to the steps, please.

Thanks.

ok, ty.
btw, this probably also means it can't report license usage from behind a proxy w/SSL inspection, which in turn means we can only have 10% overage with VUL licenses, instead of 20% which makes us even more uncomfortable switching to VUL licensing :(

Technically, you can install the certificate directly on the host by elevating access to admin and using SSH — this will work. However, I recommend opening a support ticket and allowing our team to walk you through the process to avoid any mistakes.
