Hello, I'd like to make a feature request.
When Windows Failover Cluster volumes are backed up the path looks like this in the malware detection logs:
\\?\Volume{ae3f23d9-a54b-4a3b-8d28-a532d08c52cd}\Data\Corp\IS\Shared\byron-move\is_misc\old_Comm\POPULAR.PCS
This UNC style path is not allowed in the malware exceptions. The only way to exclude in this situation is with file extensions. When only one file is causing false alerts this is overkill and opens up a larger hole than necessary.

Re: Feature Request: allow malware path exceptions for Windows Failover cluster volumes
Hello Andy,
Thank you for your post, added your vote to this feature request! Mind me asking what causes the false-positive reports in your environment?
