Hi everyone!
Unfortunately I ran into a problem with my Scale out repository.
The repository consists of 3 performance tier extents.
The backup job is incremental and has 30 restore points.
For now, the restore points were distributed over the 3 extents.
However, now the extent with the full backup file is totally full (1,7mb free), and I am unable to backup.
Backups fail with "Full backup file merge failed Error: Agent: Failed to process method {Transform.Patch}: Es steht nicht genug Speicherplatz auf dem Datenträger zur Verfügung
Asynchronous request operation has failed. [requestsize = 917504] [offset = 324952064000]".
The german part of the error message means "Not enough storage space on the volume".
Launching a active full also does not help because it also starts merge and immediately fails.
Is there any way to fix this without losing the entire backup chain.
I also tried the rebalance function, but it fails with "There is nothing to rebalance".
Thank you!

Re: Scale out repository - extent full - no merge
Hi markus,
If one of the other extents has sufficient free space, you can try the solution in this KB to move the full backup manually. However, please review the cautionary notes on the KB before proceeding, as there are a few requirements that must be met and also if fast clone is in use, you likely will see rehydration of the full backup and also not get fast clone until the next active full.
