Hi - Scenario is:
SMB backup from NAS A (30TB)
Veeam backup to repo onsite and copy to remote repo - worked well
Needed to move the SMB share and all data from NAS A to NAS B (new NAS) - done.
Setup new Veeam backup job to backup new SMB share to onsite repo - works fine.
The problem is now I want to setup the copy job to the remote site but it will have to push all 30TB across the WAN link which is really not ideal.
The existing original copy data is still at remote site, can I point NEW backup job to OLD backup copy repo so it only moves the changes?
Thanks

Re: SMB New Backup job old Copy job
Hello evander,
Unfortunately it's not possible to use backup created with backup copy job with primary job due to metadata differences. Thank you!

Re: SMB New Backup job old Copy job
Thanks you for the reply.
Is it possible to then seed the new backup copy job? What is your suggestion to best achieve the 30TB copy job over the WAN? Is there a better way that pushing the data over the WAN link?
